Lacuna Legal Providers is on the move

2021 has been an exciting year of growth for Lacuna Legal Providers. We’ve grown our team, delivered our services to an increasing community of clients, and from July, Lacuna Legal Providers will be working from new premises at Clarence Professional Workplaces located at 95 North Quay, Brisbane.

“Having Lacuna onsite in Brisbane and available to work with all Clarence community members across our offices in Melbourne and Sydney, as well as members working remotely, is an exciting development for Clarence “said Tony Jansz, CEO  of Clarence. “With more than 600 legal members, Clarence is Australia’s largest independent group of practising solicitors. In fact, our community is similar in size to a significant national firm.”

Lacuna supports lawyers and law firms by providing essential management, administration and back-office support.

“Lacuna’s purpose has always been to help lawyers and law firms build successful and sustainable careers and businesses, however and wherever they work,” said Allison Warburton, co-founder of Lacuna.

Lacuna was launched in March 2019 by co-founders Allison and Bronwyn Eynon-Lewis. Both were working at a high-level in law firms while supporting families at home and recognized the challenges lawyers face balancing careers and personal commitments.

“The Lacuna model is designed to make available to all lawyers the support usually found in big firms – marketing, business development, bids and proposal writers and  professional coaches,” said Bronwyn, “Lawyers engage Lacuna on a flexible and transparent monthly subscription for services tailored to meet their needs with no lock-in period.”

Already working with lawyers in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, Lacuna’s growing team of experienced professionals has been recognized as a finalist for Innovator of the Year (Company) at the 2021 Australian Law Awards. In 2020, Lacuna was a finalist for Innovator of the Year at the Women in Law Awards and again at the Australian Law Awards, and selected as a participant in the Centre of Legal Innovation’s inaugural Innovator Incubator.
